Bottled my ESB on Monday night. Final gravity was 1.018, putting it at a respectable 5.5% ABV. It has a nice light brown color, seems to be very clear (though we’ll see after bottle conditioning), has a very faint malty nose, solid mild bitterness, and a nice mellow sweet bready flavor. I am thrilled with how this one turned out so far. It reminds me of a darker Bluebird EXB. More this coming Monday when I pop a sample bottle.
